Returns

UK (excluding off-shore) full price orders greater than £40 can be returned via 'Royal Mail', free of charge. You can create the label here, and then take the parcel to the Post Office. 

UK full price orders less than £40, sale price orders and orders to UK off-shore territories can be returned to us via a carrier of your choosing. The customer is responsible for the cost of returning the parcel.

THE STANDARD STUFF:

• Returns are accepted up to 28 calendar days after receipt of goods.
• Returned goods must be accompanied by a completed returns form.
• Returned goods must be unused and in their original packaging. For any goods returned without packaging you may be liable for a restocking charge. You are responsible for ensuring that items are returned in good condition. For clarity, helmets must be double boxed and you must not rely on the display box for shipping purposes. The display box needs to be in the same condition it arrives in, without any additional labels on.
• We cannot accept returns on goods that are custom made.
• Goods must be returned with any relevant promotional or free gifts.
• Salt Flats Clothing reserves the right to refuse the return or refund of goods deemed to have been purchased for anything other than private use. This includes agencies, individuals and companies using Salt Flats Clothing e-Commerce platform and returns process to purchase goods for commercial purposes. Goods shall be made available for collection and return to the original purchasing party.

ON RECEIVING YOUR ORDER BACK:

• There are no restocking fees or repeat shipping charges (for full price orders over £40) for UK returns and exchanges.
• We always aim to process refunds or exchanges within 2 working days (Mon-Fri) of receiving the returned goods.
• REFUND - The funds will be returned via the original payment method. This may take up to 5 working days to appear as cleared funds depending on the payment method used.
• EXCHANGE - We will dispatch the required replacement item(s) within the time frame specified for the product(s) as displayed on our website. This is usually within 1 working day of receiving the returned goods. 

RETURNING GOODS TO US:

• Returns are accepted up to 28 calendar days after receipt of goods.
• You are responsible for the return shipping costs.
• If the goods are shipped internationally, you will be charged shipping again if you want to exchange the item.
• Returned goods must be accompanied by a completed returns form.
• Returned goods must be unused and in their original packaging. For any goods returned without packaging you may be liable for a restocking charge. You are responsible for ensuring that items are returned in good condition.
• We cannot accept returns on goods that are custom made.
• Goods must be returned with any relevant promotional or free gifts.
• All returns packages must be marked as RETURNED GOODS – FAILED SALE. This must be clearly marked on the customs information document you are also required to submit (CN22 and/ or CN23) AND on the outside of the packaging. IT IS NOT SUFFICIENT TO SIMPLY SEND THE GOODS TO BACK - Customs require proper supporting documentation to prevent not charging taxes upon the goods coming back into the UK. Failure to do this will result in unnecessary import taxes and VAT being charged. Either the parcel will be refused by us and returned to you by the carrier or we will be obliged to pay the carrier on your behalf, which will be deducted from any funds returned to you.
• Please DO NOT ship back by Fedex, this results in extra customs charges, even as a return. Your parcel will be returned to you.
